“Contrary to some media reports, I’ve been appointed as Shahin coach last week," Karimi said.
He added,”I have no problem to head the team and the permission in this regard has been issued. At the moment, Shahin suffers financial problems. I want to help the team to get good results that’s why I am here.”
Karimi replaced Hamid Derakhshan after reports suggested that Derakhshan parted company with the Bushehr-based team on mutual consent because of his wife's illness.
Shahin of Bushehr is 9th on the Iran Professional League standing table.
