Esteghlal beat Persepolis two times during the last season and the Blues are going to clinch their third successive victory over the Reds, according to Mazlumi.
Speaking after a 3-2 loss to Traktorsazi of Tabriz at the Azadi Stadium, he noted, “We needed this defeat to get ready for derby. I promise you that [Esteghlal] will beat Persepolis on Friday.”
“Unfortunately, our players made big mistakes against Traktorsazi and we lost them our home game. I will punish the players, who made mistakes in this match,” Esteghlal coach said.
