TEHRAN Esteqhlal of Tehran took three points and second place of the table as Faraz Fatemi scored the sole goal of the match in the 34th minute. During a 10th-week match of Iran Premier Clubs Championships held Sunday in Bahman 22 Stadium, Isfahan, the blue-clad team of Esteqhlal defeated Foulad-e Sepahan to increase its points to 18, following the archrival Pirouzi with 19 points. Foulad-e Khuzestan also won its clash against Municipality of Rasht 2-1 and stood fourth in the table. The match was held in Takhti Stadium, Ahvaz, Sunday. |
