Persepolis matches with Bildfeld and Rapid

PLDC - According to the latest reports, Persepolis has scheduled friendly matches with Armenia Bildfeld (Germany) and Rapid Vienna (Austria) during the Iranian Professional League midseason break, in February 2003. Both the teams will play at home to Persepolis and will each hold a one week preparatory camp in Iran.

A Persepolis club official who confirmed the news also commented, “During the recent trip of Mr. Akbar Ghamkhar (Persepolis chairman) to Austria, it was arranged that Rapid Vienna should travel to Iran in the next few months and hold preparatory matches with Persepolis. The necessary communication has been made and it is certain that Persepolis will host the German and Austrian teams.”
