Kyodo - Shimizu S-Pulse are planning to play a charity match in Amsterdam on April 13 against Dutch club Ajax to help the victims of the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan, soccer sources said Thursday.

J-League clubs are arranging several charity matches for the cause, but Shimizu S-Pulse will become the first one to go abroad.

Ajax first approached S-Pulse, whose Iranian manager Afshin Ghotbi has many friends in the Netherlands, while captain Shinji Ono played for Feyenoord for five seasons from 2001, the sources said.
