MNA - Iran’s Persepolis finished at fourth place after losing to Zilina in the 2011 Matchworld Cup on Wednesday.

Persepolis lost 3-1 to Zilina from Slovakia at the Al Maktoum Stadium. The Iranian team beat Sparta Prague 3-0 in its first match but lost 2-0 to Zenit St. Petersburg, the 2010 Russian Premier League champion.

“We will try to improve and hopefully; we should learn from mistakes in the tournament. In the Asian Champions League we will definitely try to play like Zenit, to their level,” Persepolis coach Ali Daei said.

Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia and Zenit will play in the final game.
