MNA - Former Bochum striker Vahid Hashemian joined Persepolis football team on a six-month deal.

The 34-year old player will accompany Persepolis for the AFC Champions League.

“Persepolis has a long history in Iran’s football and I am happy to join the team. I am going to help Persepolis in the Iran’s football league and the AFC Champions League,” Hashemian said.
 
“Persepolis has a chance to win the title in domestic league. I am sure we can get back on track in the second half of the season,” former Bayer Munich striker added.
 
Hashemian joined Hamburger in 1991 and has played for Bochum, Bayern Munich and Hannover in Bundesliga.
