Iran had been held to a goalless draw by Qatar national football team in another friendly held on Tuesday night.
Afshin Ghotbi, who is preparing the team for the AFC Asian Cup, fielded reserve players against Qatar Army in the match held at the Aspire Zone.
Iran has been drawn in Group D of the AFC Asian Cup along with North Korea, Iraq, and the United Arab Emirates.
The 2011 AFC Asian Cup will be held in Doha from January 7 to 29.
