Khakpour takes charge of Steel Azin

MNA - Former Persepolis and Iran defender Mohammad Khakpour was named as coach of Steel Azin football team on Friday.

Khakpour replaced Afshin Peyrovani in the Tehran-based team.
 
“I’ve come here to help Steel Azin.  I believe in the team and think we can weather the crisis,” the newly-appointed coach said.
Peyrovani resigned from his job last week following the team’s poor results in the Iran’s Professional League.
