Iran, Turkmenistan in Asian Games football competition

MNA - Iran Under-23 football team will play Turkmenistan in its opening match of the 2010 Asian Games tomorrow.

The four-time Asian Games champion will play Turkmenistan at the Guangzhou University City Stadium.
Iran has been drawn in Group B of the competitions along with Turkmenistan, Bahrain and Vietnam.
 
In this tournament some 24 teams will play in the men’s competitions. The event will end on November 25.
 
Iran has already won the title in 1974, 1990, 1998 and 2002.
