Xinhua - Although the Brazilian Confederation of Soccer (CBF) has yet to officially declare its national team's upcoming opponents, information was leaked on Saturday that sights Iran as the first of two friendlies.

The match is expected to take place in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Head coach of the Brazilian national team Mano Menezes announced his third roster of athlete to observe on Sept. 23. The list of players will gather on Oct. 6 to Oct. 13. The first friendly is expected to take place hours after the team' s arrival in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 6 or 7.

The national team' s second friendly is expected to take place in London on Oct. 12. The opponent has not yet been named, but is likely to be a team from Africa or Europe. The exact location of the match has not been determined. The CBF is waiting on the English Federation of Soccer to determine the possible opponent and site.

According to Menezes, the opponents of the upcoming friendlies will be of a medium caliber in order for the coach to be able to observe each athlete without having to deal with the stress of a tough opponent.
