The Iranian team members are among many sports hopefuls around the world who have not let height get in the way of their big dreams.
In New York, an all-dwarf basketball team, the New York Towers, is making headlines. The Towers' tallest player is just 4-foot-8.
The team's 3-foot, 3-inch general manager Clinton Brown had told reporters that the team are focused on excelling in the game.
"The concept itself is hard for some average-size people to think about – small people playing a big man's game," Brown said. "It just goes to show you that with a little bit of fortitude and heart you can accomplish what you desire."
The Towers are trying to start a national Little NBA, a league that could provide halftime shows at NBA games.
