ZAGREB, Croatia, January 21 (DSA) -
Croatian coach Branko Ivankovic confirmed that he had agreed to take over
Iranian national team. He hasn’t signed the contract yet, but he claims
that everything has been already settled down. Ivankovic was the first assistant of Miroslav Blazevic who was in charge of the Iranian national team till earlier this month. He also assisted Blazevic when the latter led the Croatian national team to the 3rd place at 1998 World Cup in France. |
