Iran defeated Armenia 3-1 in a friendly in Yerevan on Thursday. “We were not an organized team in the first half and conceded one goal, but changed our lineup after the break and returned to the match with three goals,” Ghotbi said.
“Our objective is to find the best lineup for the 2011 AFC Asian Cup. Hopefully, our players who accompanied the team in Armenia are capable to be in Iran’s lineup,”
The three-time Asian champion is preparing itself for the AFC Asian Cup which will be held in Qatar in January 2011.
