Nekounam joins Iran football team

MNA - Osasuna midfielder Javad Nekounam was called up for Iran football team.

The Persians will face the Armenian’s on August 11 in Yerevan and Nekounam is going to accompany Afshin Ghotb’s team.
The La Liga player replaced Mohammad-Reza Khalatbari who cannot play due to Injury.
 
The three-time Asian champion is preparing itself for the AFC Asian Cup which will be held in Qatar in January 2011.
