PTV - Steel Azin's Ali Karimi has been left out of the Iranian squad as it is set to leave for Armenia to participate in an upcoming friendly match.

Iran's national football team will fly to Yerevan on August 10 and hold a friendly match against Armenia on August 11.

Osasuna's Javad Nekounam and Masoud Shojaei as well as Foulham's Andranik Teymourian will not accompany the Iranian squad.

Reports say Karimi has been left out of the Iranian squad due to his objections about Iran holding a training camp in Austria, which critics believe, had no positive result.

Iran held two friendly matches against Serbia's Red Star Belgrade, Hungary's Vasas SC during its Austria training camp in July and played against Lazio in Italy.
