Sepahan comes up short in IPL opening [VIDEO]

MNA - Defending champion Sepahan was held to a 1-1 draw against Rah Ahan in its opening match of the Iran Professional League on Tuesday.

Amin Motevasselzadeh from Rah Ahan scored in the 31st minute, but Reza Enayati cancelled out the goal five minutes into the second half.

Elsewhere, Tehran-based Esteghlal defeated its host Shahrdari of Tabriz on Monday, while Steel Azin, also from Tehran, beat Foolad of Khuzestan in Ahvaz.
