Fansonline - Iranian midfielder Andranik Teymourian looks set to be given another chance to impress the powers that be at Ewood Park as he looks to find himself a club.

The midfielder was released by Fulham at the start of July, but he could find a lifeline at Rovers after a trial with the club.

The 27-year-old did well when he went to Bolton in 2007 but struggled to make an impact after moving to Fulham, making just one appearance.

Teymourian has featured in one pre-season match against Southport which Rovers won 3-0, now he will get the chance to do it again in the game with Preston or Huddersfield.

"He has trained very well and I think he had a little bit of a tough time when he was at Fulham and never played too many games," Coach Kean told the Lancashire Telegraph.

"But he certainly had a good impact on the sessions and Saturday in the game.

"But he needs match practice to get back into the swing of things."
