MNA - Iranian striker Vahid Hashemian parted company with Bochum after failing to reach an agreement with the German club.

Bochum was relegated to the second division of the Bundesliga along with Hertha Berlin and Nurnberg.
“My agent failed to reach an agreement with the Bochum officials so I had to end my term there. I wish Bochum the best and hope that they return to the first division soon,” Hashemian said.

Iranian media have already announced that Hashemian will come back to his homeland and continue his playing career here.

“If I receive any offers from German or Iranian clubs I will definitely give them some thought. In the meantime, I will probably take part in a coaching course,” the former Iran striker added.

The former Bayern Munich player joined Bochum from Hannover 96 in 2008. The 34-year-old striker played 41 times for the club and scored three goals.
