It is believed that they are amongst many Championship rivals & Premier League clubs keen to snapping up the 27-year old this summer, including Sam Allardyce who is keen to re-unite with the player that he brought into the Premier while at the helm of the Bolton Wanderers.
The Iranian International arrived in England in 2006 when he left Iranian club Aboomoslem to join Bolton Wanderers. However, he was released by the club shortly after failing to break into the first team upon Sam Allardyce's departure to Newcastle.
Andranik signed for Fulham in the summer of 2008, where he once again found himself out of favour with manager Roy Hodgson.
In 2009 he joined Championship outfit Barnsley on loan where he broke into the first team and made 11 appearances before returning back to Fulham.
It is believed that Andranik will be brought in to replace long severing & fan favourite Nick Montgomery, who has become a key target for newly promoted Leeds United. The Scottish international has yet to sign a contract extension with The Blades, leading to speculation that he will depart that club that he has made over 294 league appearances for.
