Persepolis ended in a goalless stalemate against Tehran-based team Steel Azin on a rainy day at the Azadi Stadium.
Meanwhile Esteghlal defeated Shahin of Bushehr 1-0 and went three points clear of its archrivals Persepolis in the IPL standing table. Rinaldo Cruzado converted a penalty in the 35th minute.
Sepahan closed in on IPL title by a draw against relegated Abu Moslem in Mashhad. Sepahan tops the table with 63 points. Zob Ahan is second bagging 57 points and Esteghlal remained third with 55 points.
