Iran is scheduled to meet Singapore at the Bishan Stadium on Wednesday.
“We need the vital three points and I am sure we can defeat Singapore. Iran is going to qualify for the 2011 Asian Cup,” Ghotbi said after Iran’s first training session in Singapore.
“Despite the high humidity of Singapore our players trained without any problem. Meanwhile, we don’t have any injured players for this important match,” he added.
“Singapore is a good team,” Ghotbi added.
Iran beat Singapore 6-0 in the first leg at the Azadi Stadium.
Iran has clinched top place of Group Five with seven points, and the three points will guarantee its qualification.
Singapore is second with six points.
Thailand and Jordan are in third and fourth places with five and four points respectively, and will play against each other on Wednesday at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Thailand.
