KUALA LUMPUR: The AFC has confirmed that Lebanon and Turkmenistan have withdrawn from Group D of the AFC U19 Championship 2010 qualifiers in Tehran.

The tournament, which starts on December 8, now features three teams – Iran, Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

Group D is the final qualifying event for the finals, scheduled to be held in October next year.

The top two teams from each of the eight groups, along with the best third-placed teams from East and West Asia, qualify for the finals.

The AFC has appointed three referees, three assistant referees, one referee assessor and one match commissioners for the AFC U-19 Championship 2010 Group D qualifiers in Tehran, Iran.

The competition, featuring Iran, Uzbekistan and Pakistan, starts on 8 December. The match officials are as follows.
