Iran will host Iceland and Macedonia in friendlies, as well as playing Jordan twice in Asian Cup 2011 qualification between November 10 and 20.

Most prominent absentee is Ferydoon Zandi, who recently barely earned playing time at Steel Azin, after falling apart with coach Hamid Estili. Also defensive midfielders Hossein Kazemi (Esteghlal Tehran) and Farzad Ashoubi (Mes Kerman) are missing from the list.
The biggest surprise might be the comeback of veteran striker Farhad Majidi. The 32-year-old Esteghlal Tehran skipper had his 41st and so far last Team Melli cap in 2007.
