ESPN - Esteghlal went top of the Iran Pro League in emphatic fashion with a 5-0 drubbing of lowly Abumoslem.

All the goals came in the second half as Farzad Majidi opened the scoring for the visitors after 54 minutes before Arash Borhani and Hossein Kazemi added two quick goals in the 65th and 67th minutes.

Siavash Akbarpour and Seyed Salehi then piled on the agony for the league's bottom club with stoppage-time strikes.

Elsewhere, Zob-Ahan stay third following a 1-1 draw at Pas-Hamden.

Ghasem Hadadifar gave Zob-Ahan an 18th-minute lead which was cancelled out by Mehrdad Karimian midway through the second half.
