MNA - Iran football team will face Bosnia-Herzegovina in Sarajevo’s Asim Ferhatovic Hase Stadium on Wednesday.

Afshin Ghotbi’s team, who failed to qualify for the 2010 World Cup, is playing without the retired Mehdi Mahdavikia, Ali Karimi and Vahid Hashemian.

The team will then travel to Manama for a match against Bahrain on August 31. Iran will also play Uzbekistan on September 5.

The three-time Asian champion is playing the games as preparation for November’s 2011 Asian Cup qualifiers against Jordan.
