MNA - Zlatko Kranjcar, the newly-appointed Persepolis coach, vowed on Wednesday to play offensive football in the Iran Professional League (IPL).

Kranjcar, who will be in Tehran on Thursday to pen a contract with Iran’s most popular team, said he is interested in offensive football.

“I know all Persepolis’ fans want me to win the title. I will keep working hard with the team to get the best results,” the Croat said.

“When I was informed about Persepolis’ offer, I investigated about the club and found out they are one of the biggest clubs in Iran,” Kranjcar added.

“I’ve heard that Azadi Stadium is full of spectators when Persepolis plays. We will play in such a way that our fans like it,” the 53-year-old coach concluded.
