Derakhshan named Paykan football coach



MNA - Hamid Derakhshan was appointed as Paykan football coach with a one-year contract on Thursday.

The former Persepolis coach was Paykan’s adviser last season. Ghazvin’s representative finished in 8th place in Iran’s Professional League last season.
 
Derakhshan has replaced Ali-Asghar Modir-Rusta in Paykan.

“All members of the managerial board confirmed that Derakhshan was the best choice to take charge of the team,” Paykan General Manager Kamran Saheb-Panah said.
