IRNA - Head Coach of Pirouzi, Ali Parvin, lauded Mansour Pour-Heidari for his support Sunday, urging the officials to prohibit football hooligans from wrongdoing.
In his talks with IRNA, the popular head coach of the reds backed the remarks of Pour-Heidari, the head coach of Esteqlal, about the troublemakers in stadiums and said: "I will also quit the dugout -- as Pour-Heidari has said -- to express my protest if the pseudo fans are not prevented from using foul language and committing evil deeds."
Parvin called Pour-Heidari's statements logical, adding that all must cooperate to clear the stadiums of bad language and unhealthy atmosphere.
The former national player of Iran wondered how the hooligans penetrate into the Pirouzi and Esteqlal spectators' boxes, who have just in mind to cause chaos in the stadiums.
Archrivals Pirouzi and Esteqlal, usually referred to as the reds and the blues, are the two favorite soccer teams that are the backbone of Iran's national team and strongly supported by football-crazy fans.
The two coaches are to field their players at 02:30 p.m. Friday on the pitch of Azadi Stadium, Tehran.
Touching upon the controversial management problem of Pirouzi, the veteran head coach said: "Fortunately, the officials of Physical Education Organization (PEO) and in particular its president Mohsen Mehralizadeh are paying due attention to the club and the team's officials and I will do our job under the PEO's supervision."
Parvin further noted that the PEO has promised to solve the problems of Pirouzi and expressed his appreciation on behalf of the club's members to Mehralizadeh for his goodwill."
