Kickoff for women's football league tomorrow



PTV - The second season of Iran's women's football league championship games is starting tomorrow May 24.

The nationwide games will involve 18 teams and matches will take place at different stadiums, reports ILNA.

The three-time increase over last year's games where only 6 teams competed is a reflection of the almost insatiable appetite of Iranian women for the beautiful game.

Last year's winners, Bal Gostar from the Mazandaran province will be hoping to make it two in a row this year.
