Pas eliminated Tehran popular team at the Qods Stadium in Hamedan and will play Rah Ahan in the next round.
Nigerian striker Edison Joseph gave Pas a lead in the 12th minute with a header into six-yard box.
Mohammad Gholami doubled the score in the 31st minute, running into Persepolis’ box and dribbling past goalkeeper Mehdi Vaezi to open the goal.
Referee Alireza Faghani showed red cards to duo Pas players Joseph and Vahid Aliabadi because of violent behavior in the 69th and 80th minutes.
Persepolis put Pas under pressure afterwards, and Bahador Abdi eventually pulled a goal back with a header with ten minutes left.
In another match, Saba Battery defeated Mes of Rafsanjan 3-2 and now has to play Zob Ahan on Thursday in the semi-final round.
