MNA - Sepahan football team coach Farhad Kazemi paid the price for his teams poor results in the Asian Champions League (ACL) when he parted company with the team on Saturday.

Sepahan lost to Al-Shabab of the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday in Group D of the ACL and failed to qualify for the next stage.

It is said that former Esteghlal coach Amir Ghalenoei and former Rah Ahan trainer Mahmoud Yavari are Sepahan’s candidates to take over the job.

Kazemi replaced interim coach Hossein Charkhabi in December 2008. The Isfahani team wished him all the best in the statement published on their website.
