Mohammad Mansouri gave Persepolis the lead in the 54th minute with a long range shot outside the box.
Hadi Norouzi doubled the score in the 75th minute to seal a consolation victory for the defending champions. Rah Ahan Keeper Hossein Ashna’s blunder handed an empty net opportunity to the Persepolis striker and he opened the goal.
Persepolis ranks fifth in the 8th edition of the IPL with 55 points.
The match was attended by less than 1,000 fans.
