AFC fines Saba player for hard tackle

MNA - Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Disciplinary Committee fined Saba Battery midfielder Mohsen Yousefi for a hard tackle on Pakhtakor’s player in the Asian Champions League.

Yousefi brought down an Uzbek player in the match held in Qom, central Iran, on April 7.

AFC Disciplinary Committee has fined Yousefi $3,000 in cash and banned him from playing in one match.

Yousefi has to pay the penalty himself and the club will not help him in this regard, according to Saba Battery Deputy Manager Mojtaba Peyambari.
