Zob Ahan beat Bargh of Shiraz 2-1 at the Hafezieh Stadium. The visitors took the lead with Mohammad Reza Khalatbari and Ghasem Ahadi goals in the 13th and 27th minutes respectively. Mehdi Karimian pulled a goal back for Bargh from the penalty spot with one minute remaining to the first half.
Esteghlal held to a goalless draw at Ahvaz’s Takhti Stadium against Fulad. Esteghlal will have to play Saipa and struggling Payam in the next two weeks and Zob Ahan is scheduled to play Malavan and Fulad.
