Iran drops 11 places in FIFA rankings



MNA - Iran has slipped down 11 places in the recent FIFA World Rankings following poor results in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.

Iran went from 42 to 53 with 582 points in the rankings released on Wednesday.

Heavy weight region teams Australia with 776 came first and Japan with 749 points came second.

Spain remained top of the latest world rankings with 1729 points followed by Germany and the Netherlands with 1362 and 1360 points respectively.
