MNA - Iran football team are scheduled to play Vietnam and China in preparation for a must-win match against North Korea in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.

The Iranian outfit will play Vietnam on May 29 in the Southeast Asian country and then fly to China to hold a warm-up game against that team on June 1, according to Iran national football team’s supervisor.

“Iran will fly to Pyongyang directly from China to play North Korea in the World Cup qualifiers on June 6,” Ahmad Ebrahimi said.

Iran is fourth in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers in Group Two with six points, behind North and South Korea and Saudi Arabia respectively.
