About 37 percent of the respondents to an online FIFA poll believe Saudi Arabia's Al Ittihad will win the 2009 AFC Champions League title, while more than 22 percent voted for defending champion Gamba Osaka.
Public opinion says Sepahan has the third highest chance of claiming the title, with about 12 percent of votes. South Korea's Suwon Bluewings, Uzbekistan's Bunyodkor and China's Shandong Luneng ranked fourth to sixth.
Sepahan defeated the UAE's Al Shabab 2-0 on Wednesday in its first match at the 2009 AFC Champions League.
The second round of the preliminaries will be held on March 17-18. Sepahan will visit Saudi Arabia's Ettifaq on Wednesday.
The figures show poll results calculated up until March 15, 0730 GMT. Intermediate results may differ as the poll continues.
