GIO chief: Aliabadi should abandon one of his jobs

MNA - Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi, director of the General Inspection Organization (GIO), said on Monday that Mohammad Aliabadi, the director of the Iran Physical Education Organization (PEO) and the Iran National Olympic Committee(NOC) should resign from one of his jobs.

Iran’s General Inspection Organization is due to submit a letter to Aliabadi on Tuesday to inform him to abandon one of his responsibilities in the country’s sports scene.

Aliabadi is currently in Lausanne, Switzerland, to meet the president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Jacques Rogge.
