Berlin, Aug 22, IRNA -- The head coach of German first division team Vfl Bochum here Thursday criticized the "exaggerated selfish" play of his Iranian striker Vahid Hashemian, the bi-weekly kicker sports magazine reported.
"We cannot allow this kind of selfishness ahead of our next match in Leverkusen," warned coach Peter Neururer.
"We might only have one chance in that match," he added.
Hashemian's double goal strike in the first two games against Nuremberg and Cottbus was at times marred by senseless dribblings and overlooking the better posted team-mate in front of the opponent's goal.
Newly-promoted Bochum has so far surprised German football experts, leading the Bundesliga standings with six points.
