Iran and Thailand's national soccer teams are to compete on January 28th in Bangkok during Asian Nations Cup competitions.
In an exclusive interview with Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA), he said Iran is Thailand's friend, "I like Iran so much, I believe the county is not our rival, but our friend."
Thailand needs to get home scores to go up to a higher rank in the competitions, but when competing with a strong team as Iran, even wining one point is good for Thailand since we can gain required results during home matches, he added.
He also assured that the two soccer teams will ascend to the next stage and added his country is well prepared for hosting the game.
"According to the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), "Iran's soccer team needed Rajamangala stadium only for one session to practice, but we have made it possible for them to exercise there for two to three sessions, we regard Iran as our friend."
