ISNA - Iran-Thailand soccer match will not be an easy one for Iran, said Iranian national team coach, Ali Daei before the team's initial exercise for the match but he expressed optimism on a winning result.

The Iranian soccer players have well practiced in their teams and they are all ready, "we are making ourselves prepared for competition with Thailand," despite the difficult match, the team is optimistic to gain satisfactory results, he said.

The upcoming competition will be a very good one to make Iran prepared for rivalry with South Korea; Daei told reporters adding he is not well informed of physical conditions of the players and he can make comments after the team's exercises.

Daei then evaluated Thailand's soccer team as a strong one and said it will not be an easy competitor for Iran.

Iran will compete with Thailand on January 28th in Bangkok and with South Korea on February 11th in Tehran.
