MNA - Alireza Sadeghijoo, a former assistant referee, has died of a stroke at the age of 56 on Tuesday in Tehran’s Chamran hospital.
He will lay to rest at Tehran's Behesht-e Zahra cemetery on Thursday.
Sadeghijoo assisted the Hungarian referee Sándor Puhl in Tehran’s football derby between Esteghlal and Persepolis.
