MNA - Content Iranian football coach Ali Daei said on Wednesday that he is set to field his team against South Korea with just 20 percent alteration compared to the match against Singapore.

At the post match interview after a 6-0 victory over Singapore in the 2011 Asian Cup qualifiers, Daei said, “Iran had a pretty good performance against Singapore. We played well and our rival was not the team that could stop us. We kept them in their box from the start of the match.”

“In the first half, our players were interested in short passes and I advised them in the interval to change their style. In the second half, they sent long balls and we broke their stubborn resistance in defense,” he added.

Iran will play South Korea on February 11 at the Azadi Stadium in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers in Group 2.
