FNA - Osasuna's Javad Nekounam returned to Pamplona after his prolonged winter holiday in Iran.
According to the local newspaper 'Diario de Navarra', Nekounam joined Osasuna training in Tajonar facilities two days later than his other colleagues.
Despite contradictory reports, yesterday, sources within the club revealed that the Iranian had club's permission to return later, given Nekounam's heavy schedule in this season, being the only Osasuna player to play in all La Liga matches and Copa del Rey as well as his numerous trips for national team duty.
The midfielder participated in yesterdays training which included a warm-up match between Osasuna players divided in two groups.
'Los Rojillos' who are currently placed in the danger zone of the Primera Division, will play their next match against Sevilla on Sunday.
