FNA - Persepolis striker Mohsen Khalili who has been sidelined with crucial ligament injury announced that he will be fit to play for his club by February.

Khalili who finished last season as Iranian Premier League's top scorer, is currently undergoing rehabilitation in Germany after undergoing surgical repair of his severe left knee injury.

"My condition is improving day by day and my exercise tolerance is increasing. I'm doing fitness exercises under supervision of a German fitness coach and I'm preparing to return to Persepolis in approximately one month", Iran Daily quoted Khalili as telling Iranian Football News Agency.

"It's been more than four and a half months since I had my operation and according to my doctor I will be able to play at the end of 6 months," the striker added.

Khalili whose absence has been badly felt by Persepolis fans in this season is still hopeful that his team might clinch the title again.
