MNA - Persepolis striker Alireza Nikbakht Vahedi said on Saturday that he feels guilty because of missing two penalty kicks against Peykan football club.
Persepolis was held to a 2-2 draw against Peykan in the 15th week of the Iran Professional League (IPL).

“I apologize to Persepolis fans because of not scoring two penalty kicks. This state sometimes happens to a player. When I lost the first penalty kick I asked my coach to let me hit the second one. I am so glad my coaches trusted in me however I am very sorry because of failing to score.

“We would have won the match if I had scored my penalty kicks. Also, I would have been at the top of the IPL’s goalscorers.” Nikbakht Vahedi said.
