MNA - Iran’s Football
Federation (IFF) has sacked coach Nenad Nikolic after disappointing results
in the U-19 AFC Championship.
The well-prepared Iranian team failed to qualify for the U-19 AFC
Championship second round last week.
The team suffered two consecutive defeats against Saudi Arabia and Japan and
had a consolation win over Yemen in the tournament.
In the meeting held in the football federation on Saturday night, Ali
Kaffashian, the head of IFF thanked Nikolic for his services in the team but
dismissed him from his job.
The new coach will be introduced within the next 20 days, according to the
officials.
