MNA - The head of Iranian
Football Federation’s Medicine Committee said on Tuesday that the 40
footballers have been tested so far.
“According to WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) rules we have no limitations
to test the athletes. We are allowed to test football players even at their
homes,” added Ahmad Hashemian.
“We have tested 40 players in the current Iran Professional league (IPL) and
not seen any positive sample so far. The federation is in charge of testing
footballers and looking forward for uprooting doping in Iran’s football.”
