Zinedine Zidane has invited Osasuna's Iranian midfielder Javad Nekounam to
play in a charity match in Morocco.
An official invitation for the 27-year-old Iranian national to join the
world stars was delivered to Osasuna on October 29.
Football legends Ronaldo and Zidane will captain their international
star-studded teams for the friendly to be held in the Moroccan city of Fez
on November 17.
The event, organized by the UN Development Programme (UNDP), is aimed at
raising money for anti-poverty projects.
Nekounam played in Spain's foreign-based players captained by Sevilla's
striker Fredrik Kanoute against the World's Best Players team to help
African children on 13 May 2008.
The Iranian international was given a three-year contract extension until
2011 by Osasuna last November due to his strong performances and commitment
to the Spanish club.
